Project Anecdotes
Announce ko na rin yung suggestion ko for this year's Mayon activities. Sana ma-approve ng majority of us, and the current president, Weis Eds. I call it Project: Anecdote.
We're done preserving our pictures (Mayon Photobook) so why not preserve or put in writing our stories of high school. If you've read Youngblood, the book, it's very similar to that. So each of us will send an essay about a story in high school na hindi alam ng karamihan.
Wag nating isama yung mga well known stories like how I fell in a hold in Room 1 while holding Kissyfur or how I call Eliza Our Lady of Baliuag then (until now, actually). These stories are known to most of us. What I want to put in the book are stories from high school na alam lang among our smaller group of friends (within REO & Friends, within MarVilLeah, D'JHERROMM, etc).
Mas doable ito sa Mayon book kasi ito, is just texts. Gusto n'yo lagyan natin ng illustration (c/o Jojo, Clemen, Vani or Nick). How does this sound?

Project: Genealogy
"Genealogy is the study of families, family history, and the tracing of their lineages."
On my way para bumili ng milk tea kanina, bigla ko lang naisip yung Project Genealogy. Fan kasi ako ni Mighty Magulang sa TikTok and she's a genealogist. Amaze ako sa paga-aral n'ya ng ancestry.
Since meron tayong list ng mga naging asawa n'yo at mga naging anak, bakit 'di natin i-level up at i-trace natin (at i-document) ang lineages ng bawat isa from our great-great grandparents up to the time na pumasok tayo sa Ponce.
It would be best kung mai-libro natin ito (along with Project Anecdote sana) kahit mga 50-100 copies lang, kung ano lang yung required ng printing press.
Nagbabasa nga tayo ng mga gawa at stories ng iba -- why don't we write our own stories. Everyone has a great story. At least bigay natin dun sa mga kids n'yo. Pagdating nila ng high school hehe.
